Key Features

  • Flanged contact provides greater stability on the eye
  • Deep field of view shows details as far out as the ora serrata with no distortion
  • Provides .50x

Volk Optical has redesigned its H-R Wide Field panretinal lens with a new flanged contact element for greater stability on the eye, according to company literature. The contact prevents patients from squeezing the lens off the eye during diagnostic and laser work. The H-R Wide Field's deep field of view shows details as far out as the ora serrata, and its double aspheric glass design with low-dispersion glass eliminates distortion and ensures high-resolution imaging across the entire viewing area. The lens provides .50x magnification with 2.0x laser spot magnification, making it effective for wide-field diagnosis and panretinal photocoagulation laser treatment.
